The post war rebuild will be expensive and unsexy. It won’t make headlines in the same way the war has so it will be easy to forget about Ukraine once the fighting stops.
Forget Ukraine at our peril. Forgetting the rebuild will result in a demoralised population. A population that will feel like it fought for Europe’s freedoms as much much as it’s own so it will feel as thoughts it’s owed help in the rebuild. If we don’t help adequately with that there will be resentment that could yet push people into Russia’s grasp. They will wonder whether the war was actually worth it.
Too bad you can not beam this to all members of our own government not to mention rank and file Russians who are not allowed to know the harsh realities of this "special military operation" Maybe Starlink could assist you with the help of Elon Musk?
